I’m heading to Nicaragua tomorrow to spend about 3 weeks in Managua working with a local school and church community. Before my trip I wanted to start this blog to keep all those who are interested posted on my trip. I’ll keep updating this while in Nicaragua, as well as throughout the next year as I spend semesters in Chicago and Washington D.C. I’m so thankful for the opportunities God has given me, and I can’t wait to see what He will do with my life.
make sure you eat lots of comida nica...although I know I don't have to say that to you :) We love you and will miss you. So glad that you can have this opportunity! Te amo mucho mi'ijo!

I am so excited for you as you begin you adventures in Nicaragua. You have so much to offer the people there. I can't wait to hear how God is using you while you are there, but also to hear about what he is trying to show you. I am praying for your flight (and hopefully that you were able to catch your flight to Miami on time), for a safe arrival to Managua, and for what God has in store :)
